The management and governance of the Excipients Business Forum is defined by our constitution and Memorandum and Articles of Association. We’re overseen by a supervisory Governing Board and President, both of which provide strategic leadership as well as ensuring our operational and financial accountability.

THE GOVERNING BOARD

The Governing Board sets the direction of the organisation and approves the organisation’s strategic plan for the forthcoming year. The Governing Board comprises both the Chief Executive and President, plus three Members of the Governing Board appointed by the Board. The Governing Board meets annually.

THE PRESIDENT

Professor Abdul W Basit of the University College London, University of London is the current President.

THE SECRETARIAT

The Secretariat is the Permanent Executive Organ of the Excipients Business Forum and operates under the general supervision of the President and Governing Board. The Chief Executive Officer who is responsible for the day to day running of the Excipients Business Forum secretariat.
